For your silicone wristband to fit perfectly, you only need one number: your wrist circumference. Measuring for a wristband takes less than a minute – with a tape measure or a strip of paper. This is how to find the right wristband size, whether for yourself, your team or a whole event.
Key facts at a glance
- Wrap the tape measure loosely around the wrist – leave one finger of room.
- Read off the circumference and convert it to millimetres (1 cm = 10 mm).
- Standard for adults: 180–202 mm, kids around 150 mm.
Measure your wrist in 4 steps
Apply the tape
Wrap a flexible tape measure loosely around the wrist, just above the wrist bone towards the hand.
Leave some room
The tape should sit snugly but not pinch – one finger should still fit comfortably underneath.
Read the circumference
Note the value in centimetres. This is exactly where your wristband will sit later.
No tape measure?
Take a strip of paper, mark where it overlaps and measure the length with a ruler.
For events, festivals or kids, choose a little more generously. A band that is too tight presses over the day – one or two millimetres more is more comfortable than too little.
Which wristband size fits?
Silicone wristbands come in several standard lengths. Using your measured wrist circumference, you can easily match yourself to a size:
If your value lies between two sizes, choose the larger one if in doubt – a slightly looser band is more comfortable to wear than one that is too tight.
Several sizes in one order?
No problem: you can combine different lengths in one order – for example for a festival with adult and kids’ bands. You specify the split directly in the configurator.
Common mistakes when measuring
- Pulled too tight: a tightly applied tape measure distorts the circumference – the band will end up too tight.
- Wrong spot: measure over the wrist bone, not further up the forearm.
- Mixing up cm and mm: 18 cm is 180 mm – wristband sizes are usually given in millimetres.
- Measured only once: if in doubt, measure twice and take the average.
If in doubt, our team will help you in two minutes – especially for large orders with mixed sizes.
How do you measure wristband size without a tape measure?
Wrap a strip of paper around the wrist, mark the point where it overlaps and measure the length up to the mark with a ruler. The result in millimetres is your wrist circumference – done.
